And even yet its been a while...

So its been a while since I've posted a blog and i think its time that i start doing them again cause I've come across a range of topics to write about. I have come to conclude that art is a defining area in human development that without it we could not express ourselves as we should everyday. Even if we play an instrument, draw a painting or even act in a play any type of art lets us express ourselves more on an emotional level with other people. Yet, another topic i have come to think of is the way we find ourselves believing in certain aspects or ideas. It could range from religion and the belief in a God to the superstitions we heard about when we were younger. I just can't shake the feeling that some of these ideas/concepts were just created with no intention of how we perceive them today. These are just some of the thoughts that i have come across since my last post a long time ago and there will be more posts in the future. If you guys have any ideas or comments let me know and share them with me.

Our class presentations

Hello everyone, i really liked all of our class presentations. I think everyone did very well speaking in front of the class since we all know that can be extremely difficult. I have to say though my favorite presentation was on Nathaniel Hawthorn because his life seemed very interesting to me. The tragedies he went through and becoming famous after his death made for a great presentation. Also i really liked how the song The Scientist from Coldplay is based on Hawthorn's work.

But Remember! Nothing is true, Everything is permitted

Many times people have told me stories of their past, and each time no matter if the settings are the same the story changes from person to person. We as a people have our own experiences to tell and when a person starts to tell his/her story with the emotions felt and with what they thought, the listener can do nothing but sit and enjoy the story. But there is always the question of "is what your telling me the truth?" For there have been times when someone has told us a situation or circumstance that is not truthful. Tendencies like this are ones that have horrific outcomes to the people involved. Misinterpretations have arisen and there are times when emotions are involved and they can be extremely fragile. But there is still hope, for it has come to my attention recently that we can actually compare ourselves to books. For in books it is the same, there is a story regardless of setting and in that story if it is expressed with emotion, true or false, we listen for the time when we see the glimmer of truth shine and we can embrace it. So just remember every person is a book with thousands of pages and on each lies an irreparable truth.

If i were to believe you it would change everything i have ever thought. It would change everything i have ever known!

As human beings we are by nature dark creatures filled with violence even from birth. We enter the world kicking and screaming and then are told to act "civilized" and behave ourselves in a maner that will never suit us. How we would imagine ourselves tearing through others with our bare teeth or taking our hands and slicing through skin with only our finger nails. To be able to change shape and become something that is out of our own relam and be able to read and understand others minds. How often do you say we find ourselves invisoning a time when we would be beating the life out of someone we hate or saying to ourselves "oh i hate that person!". Just imagining and even uttering the words "i hate" take us back to our primial era where we were once only ravenous creatures filled with anger and violence. Even yet we when were children how often did we see ourselves as creatures that we know today are violent in their own specific nature. That vampires are actually seductive and ruthless beings. That werewolves themselves are unstoppable and uncontrolable. Goblins and ghouls themselves haunted our every dream and we saw them taking us and never bringing us back to where we came from. How often when we were younger did we invision a world with goblins, ghouls, vampires, werewolves and...cookie monsters?

To tell me you know nothing, doesn't help at all.

Hi everyone, I've been getting some people who have been asking what is the secret meaning behind sun dried tomatoes? Well i cant tell you guys the answer just yet. The only hint i can give you all is that the titles have great significance to its meaning. But anyways, this past few weeks i saw the two new scary movies that came out. One was The Unborn which i would have to say was extremely hilarious. If anyone saw it, the part where the old lady is being cased by a crippled man in a wheel chair who tries to crawl up the stairs and beat the lady with a cane was just to ridiculous. The second movie was The Uninvited which i have to say was actually a must see movie. There are some parts where the story tends to drag on but the story line and the plot twists will have you guessing and even after the movie is over you can be sure you'll have questions. Well i guess that's it for now and if anyone has a guess on what sun dried tomatoes means leave a comment and ill tell ya if your right.

What is the meaning of this ?!

What would you say. What would you say if i were to ask you what is the meaning of this? Would you think life, love, death, something you did that you had regrets over or would you think of nothing at all? To tell me that life is meaningful, that everyday we have "hope", "faith" in an entity that can be compared to a form of nothing but energy and matter, is that meaningful? To say that love is something you just feel, when someone else would say that love is a constant bombardment of chemical reactions that take place inside the mind and allow us to see what we find "attractive" as suiting to our well beings. Would you believe someone who said that religion was started out of fear of death and no after life? That someone thousands of years ago could of just made it all up, to set a civilization straight, to keep them in the highest powers control at all times, to make sure there were no rule breakers and if there were then there had to be some unseen force that guided their actions. What would you say if i told you we weren't the only ones in the universe? That there are over 1 hundred million trillion stars in the universe and every star has a chance to occupy planets and each planet has a chance to occupy life. Would you still believe we are the only ones out there?
So tell me, what would you say if you were faced with these questions. How would you react? What would your emotions be and could any of it change your life entirely?

Second Post ?

Hi again, this week on my blog i have decided to write about numerous occasions that have arisen. Recently it has come to my attention that Wall-E is the greatest movie ever created. Also, i just went to an art gallery that was shown in the Broward College South Campus and i have to say that the art was a bit strange. There where many pictures of dalmatians hugging and running and then there where pictures of mythology and ideological creatures from ancient times put into backgrounds from the grand canyon. There was this constant idea of feminism and mythology the artist tried to convey; which she did, for the most part. There was one specific art piece that was in my opinion completely useless. The artist had taken foil and molded it into a snake like shape. Then the artist coiled the foil and made other smaller snake like moldings on the floor around it. When i asked the artist why she had done that specific piece she shrugged and replied " i like snakes". If anyone else went to the showing post a reply and let me know what you think. Well i guess thats it for the second post have a good day!
